Who we are looking for
We are looking for an Experimentation Insights Director. You love the idea of spending each day gathering consumer insights and employing data, to inform high-impact product decisions!
You hate the old way of doing things: making product roadmap decisions based on gut, personal opinions, debating colors and copy and whether something looks “clean”, chasing the latest trends and buzzwords, and spending millions on massive redesigns that fail to deliver on the consumer’s expectations.
You are ready for a new way of doing things! A way inspired by the ideas of the “Lean Startup” and immersed in experimentation, data and measurement.
You are a seasoned leader with experience in Analytics, A/B Testing or Experience Optimization at a large ecommerce business and are excited at the challenge of working for an iconic sports brand to help it bring to bear more data in their digital decision making.
Who you will work with
The Experience Research & Analytics (ER&A) team relentlessly improves the consumer experience by delivering impactful qualitative and quantitative insights across all Nike Direct touchpoints. We are a multi-disciplinary team with data scientists, analysts, and experience researchers across both embedded squads and centers of excellence. We partner with designers, product managers, engineers and many other partners across Nike.com, Nike App, SNKRS, NTC, NRC and Nike Stores to create and optimize experiences that are distinctly Nike and serve the needs of the consumer. The Experimentation center of excellence team is chartered with accelerating Nike’s use of experimentation standard methodologies through efficient technology, people and process – to enable a “test and learn” culture across Nike.
What your responsibilities will be
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and shaping Nike’s culture of digital experimentation toward increased scale.
Specifically, you will lead the education, adoption & scale of A/B Testing tools, methodology and collaboration process across Nike Digital experience teams and marketing groups.
Coordinate & define Nike’s standard methodologies for the ideation, prioritization, design and approval process for all hypothesis tests.
Partner with data science, analytics, product and design teams to build consumer empathy while putting consumer needs at the center of the development process
Lead & facilitate the data storytelling, insights, and recommendations for all results collected from each hypothesis test.
Consult with internal Nike experience teams to clearly establish Key Performance Indicators and supporting metrics that matter most to their businesses.
Manage executive visibility to current experiment volumes across Nike teams.
Define Nike’s requirements for increased future experimentation capabilities.
Identify current challenges, organizational findings & growth opportunities for the Nike experimentation program, as it matures.
